Everything about Old Palm Golf Club’s golf programs run so smoothly, it’s easy to overlook the incredible abilities of our Director of Golf, Bud Taylor. From successful member tournaments and teaching programs to overseeing Old Palm’s golf course (“Best In Class” according to an array of area course superintendents), Bud Taylor is at the top of his game.
Born in Huntsville, Alabama, Bud graduated from Morehead State University in Kentucky in 1992, and was elected to the PGA of America three years later. He is a PGA Certified Master Professional.
He has been associated with golf clubs in Kentucky and in Florida, including PGA Golf Club, PGA Learning Center and PGA Country Club in Port St. Lucie where he was PGA Director of Golf. He came to Old Palm Golf Club in 2009.
Taylor was the winner of the Kentucky Section PGA Assistants Championship in 1996 and in 2001, was the recipient of Golfweek Magazine’s “Top 40 under 40″ award.
